DOG OF THE WEEK - MOSS
Moss is around 6 years old and an absolute delight with people of all ages, he is happy, friendly and obedient. He was much loved in his previous home and this shows in his temperament. He walks lovely on a lead and is good off lead too, and despite not getting the walks he needed for a while lost no time at all in enjoying the freedom of off lead walks around the lake, swimming in it (he really loves to swim) and playing ball.
However although he is fabulous with people, he isn't too keen on other dogs. We have walked him with the others and much of the time he is good with them but if they get in his way he will tell them off. He therefore really needs a home without other dogs and with someone who can manage him with other dogs when out and about. He does have excellent recall so managing this when out and about should not be too difficult.
Although he has been left at times he has been used to a home where someone was with him much of the time so we will be looking for a home where he will be in a similar situation. Moss really is the most happy, loving and loyal boy when around humans of all ages and anyone who gives him a chance will have a fabulous addition to their family. We really cannot believe he hasn't been snapped up already.
