ODIE

This gorgeous chocolate drop is Odie, he is a 4 year old cocker spaniel

He has sadly come into rescue after nipping a child in the home, on the whole he is a loving, very friendly dog but he is quite nervous and finds children in the home too much.   He has never shown any aggression with adults or with children outside the home.  We have found him to be a lovely boy in kennels and once is initial nervousness went he is fussy and very happy to see us.  He has been good with the other dogs and is currently sharing with two others (another dog around him seems to give him confidence).  He is reasonably good on the lead but had not been allowed off lead so this may need work.  We have had him off lead a few times now and he comes back but not always immediately.  He is neutered and vaccinated.

Ideally we would like a home for him with another dog as it does seem to give him confidence but would consider a home without if he would still meet and walk with other dogs on a regular basis.  We will be looking for a home without children or visiting children under the age of 16
